Three Years of Engineering.

One Sustainable Solution.

Ryvon Technologies was founded with a clear objective: to develop a truly sustainable flexible packaging material that delivers the performance manufacturers demand without relying on conventional plastic laminates.

Over the past three years, our team has focused on overcoming one of the packaging industry's most significant technical challenges—combining high barrier performance, reliable heat sealing and paper recyclability within a single material.

This has been a journey of research, engineering and continuous refinement. Every stage of development has been guided by rigorous testing, validation and optimisation to ensure the material performs reliably under real-world manufacturing conditions.

Rather than pursuing incremental improvements, Ryvon has engineered a new materials platform designed to integrate with existing

packaging equipment while supporting the transition towards more sustainable packaging solutions.

"The future won't be protected by promises. It will be protected by technologies that make sustainability commercially possible."

OUR MISSION

Our vision is to redefine the future of flexible packaging by pioneering advanced materials that eliminate the traditional compromise between performance and sustainability, creating solutions that become the global benchmark for the next generation of packaging.

Innovation with

Purpose

At Ryvon, we believe protecting the planet begins with

solving real industrial challenges.

Every material we develop…
Every machine we optimise…
Every partnership we build…

moves us one step closer to replacing plastic with

genuinely recyclable paper packaging—

without compromising performance.

Because sustainability only changes the world when

it works in the real world.

Innovating to Protect the Future.

Phase One built the technology.

Phase Two proved it in the market.

Phase Three is about scaling globally.
Phase One — Building the Foundations

Ryvon's journey began as Evotek, where our objective was to develop commercially

viable sustainable packaging capable of replacing conventional plastic

without compromising performance.

During our first twelve months, we worked closely with Aquapak Technologies, utilising their

Hydropol polymer alongside one of Europe's largest flexible packaging manufacturers in

Ukraine.Together, we focused on developing

recyclable flexible packaging materials and validating their performance across a wide

range of commercial packaging systems.

This period provided invaluable technical knowledge. We successfully demonstrated the

material on multiple packaging platforms, developed enhanced high-barrier structures

and gained first-hand experience of the challenges involved in delivering truly

sustainable flexible packaging at commercial scale.

As our development progressed, it became increasingly clear that while Hydropol represented an important step forward, it also imposed limitations in processing, performance and scalability. Rather than accepting these constraints, we began developing improved material technologies capable of delivering higher performance while remaining compatible with existing manufacturing infrastructure.

At the same time, our commercial strategy evolved.

Our original vision was to become a fully integrated packaging supplier—manufacturing materials, printing packaging and supplying finished products directly to brands. However, as we engaged with customers across Europe and North America, we recognised that the greatest opportunity lay elsewhere.

The packaging industry already possessed an extensive network of world-class printers, converters and packaging manufacturers. Rather than competing with this established infrastructure, we chose to enable it.

This strategic shift transformed our business model from a packaging manufacturer into a technology and advanced materials company, supplying proprietary high-barrier materials through carefully selected conversion partners across the UK, Europe and the United States.

During this period, Evotek operated as part of the TASS Group, whose primary focus lay outside the packaging sector. As the Group gradually reduced its investment in packaging activities, it became the natural point to establish an independent business dedicated entirely to advancing the technology.

That business became Ryvon Technologies.

Today, Ryvon is focused on developing and manufacturing its own proprietary high-performance resin systems, blown films and advanced barrier materials. Supported by a global network of approved manufacturing and conversion partners, the company is now positioned to supply international brands with commercially proven, recyclable paper-based packaging solutions at scale.

Phase One established the technical foundations. Phase Two is focused on industrial scale-up and global commercial deployment.

Commercial Validation

From Innovation to Industry Acceptance

Once the core Ryvon technology had been developed, our focus shifted from laboratory innovation to commercial validation.

Over the following years we worked alongside some of the world's leading food manufacturers, packaging converters, machinery manufacturers and technology partners to prove that Ryvon could perform in demanding commercial environments.

This phase was never about developing products in isolation.

It was about solving real packaging problems for real customers.

Together with our partners we validated Ryvon across multiple packaging formats, production speeds and product categories, demonstrating that sustainable paper packaging could finally deliver the performance traditionally associated with plastic.

Building an Industry Ecosystem

Rather than trying to manufacture every finished pack ourselves, we evolved into a technology company.

We established strategic partnerships throughout the UK, Europe and North America, creating a collaborative manufacturing network capable of bringing Ryvon technology to market at industrial scale.

This approach allows Ryvon materials to be converted, printed and packed by experienced industry specialists while we continue to innovate at the material science level.

Ryvon has now been successfully validated across a broad range of food categories including:

• Chocolate

• Crisps & savoury snacks

• Nuts

• Popcorn

• Biscuits & Bakery

• Protein Bars

• Pet Food

• Butter

• Soup & Sauce Mixes

• Tea & Coffee

• Health & Nutrition

• Confectionery

• Stand-up Pouches

• Flow Wrap

• Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS)

• Horizontal Flow Wrap (HFFS)

Commercial Validation

From Laboratory Innovation to Global Industry Adoption

Over 30 commercial development programmes.

Multiple global brands.

Packaging systems proven across Europe and North America.

Technology refined through real production—not laboratory theory.

Scaling the Platform

From ProvenTechnology

to Global Manufacturing

With the technology successfully developed and commercially validated, Ryvon has now entered the next stage of its journey.

Scaling production and securing full control of our technology platform.

Over the past several years we have worked with an international network of specialist manufacturing partners to refine every element of the Ryvon system—from advanced resin formulation and blown film production to paper lamination, converting and high-speed packaging.

This collaborative approach allowed us to develop, test and validate the technology without the significant capital investment required to build our own manufacturing infrastructure.

During this process, we also developed our own proprietary resin formulation.

Building on the knowledge gained during the early stages of development, our new formulation has been engineered specifically for high-performance paper packaging. Independent trials with our manufacturing partners have demonstrated significant improvements in processing stability, machine performance, sealing consistency and overall packaging functionality when compared with earlier generation materials.

Today, our proprietary formulation is manufactured by an approved specialist partner in Asia before being converted into high-performance blown film. The film is then supplied to our UK manufacturing partner, where it is laminated to paper to create the Ryvon high-barrier structure used across our commercial programmes.

This supply chain has enabled Ryvon to prove both the material and the manufacturing process at commercial scale.

The next step is to bring these core technologies under Ryvon's direct control.

Investment will enable the company to establish its own advanced resin manufacturing capability and blown film production, protecting intellectual property, strengthening margins, increasing manufacturing flexibility and creating a scalable platform capable of supplying global markets through our network of approved converting partners.

Rather than changing our proven partnership model, this investment strengthens it.

Ryvon will continue to work alongside leading converters, printers and packaging manufacturers throughout the UK, Europe and North America while retaining ownership of the technologies that create the greatest value.

The Outcome

Phase One created the technology.

Phase Two proved it in the market.

Phase Three is about scaling the platform, protecting the intellectual property and building a world-leading advanced materials business capable of supplying the global packaging industry.

From concept... to commercial validation... to global scale.
The technology is proven.
The market is ready.
The next step is scale.
